About the role

Mentor Maryland, a part of the Sevita family, provides Residential and Treatment Foster Care services to youth facing various challenges such as out-of-home placements, transition back into the family home, or involvement in the juvenile justice system. Our mission is to help youth gain stability, comfort, and confidence to overcome their challenges and live well.

Responsibilities

• Provide case management to an assigned caseload of treatment foster care children, ages 0 to 21.
• Lead development and coordination of child's treatment and service plan.
• Make weekly home visits to each child on caseload.
• Provide monitoring and consultation to assigned foster parents (Mentors).
• Maintain records in accordance with corporate, contractual, and regulatory standards.
• Aid in legal, licensing, regulatory, and certification activities as needed.
• Assist with emergency coverage and crisis intervention support as needed, including participation in a rotational on-call system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Social Work required by the state.
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented with ability to multi-task.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing with access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
