About the role
A full-time school Social Worker position is available to work in social-emotional learning programs at Killingly Intermediate School (grades 5-8) and Killingly High School (grades 9-12).
Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group counseling services to students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student needs
- Implement social-emotional learning programs and activities
- Assess and document student progress
- Participate in team meetings and professional development
Requirements
- CT Certification 071 is required
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field
- Master's degree in Social Work preferred
- Valid Connecticut Driver’s License
