About the role

The Social Worker is responsible for performing psychosocial services including assessment, crisis intervention, care coordination, and abuse reporting. Coordinates discharge care needs under the general direction of the physician, and in conjunction with the treatment team and may lead process and education groups.

Requirements

• Master’s in social work.
• Licensure and Certification:
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) provider card.
  • Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB).
  • Associate Clinical Social Worker (ACSW) through BBS.
• License Eligible (must attain license within 5 years of hire).
• Must obtain clinical supervision as required through the BBS.

Skills

• Experience in an acute care setting preferred with focus on crisis intervention and rapid stabilization.
• Competent in infant, pediatric, adult and geriatric developmental stages, substance abuse, terminal illness, and mental health experience preferred.
