Social Worker

As a Social Worker at DaVita, you’ll be a part of a Team that values work-life balance and where your personal and professional growth is a top priority. DaVita has an open position for a Social Worker who will be a vital member of each patient’s core care team.

Responsibilities

• Support and advocate for patients undergoing End Stage Renal Disease.
• Help patients understand their rights and responsibilities.
• Guide patients in managing the physical, mental, emotional, and financial demands of their condition.

Requirements

• Two (2) to five (5) years of experience as a MSW preferred.
• Experience in Dialysis, In-Center Hemodialysis (ICHD) preferred.
• A Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) with a specialization in clinical practice from an accredited school of Social Work.
• Masters in Social Work (MSW) with a specialization in clinical practice from an accredited school of Social Work.
• Meets all state required regulations to practice in the Dialysis setting.
• Obtained their Clinical License (e.g., LCSW, LICSW), meeting all licensure requirements for their state.
• Proficient in all Experienced level Social Worker duties.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge of government and private insurance programs.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Pay

The Salary Range for the role is $78,000 - $128,000/year. For location-specific minimum wage details, see the following link: DaVita.jobs/WageRates. Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.

Schedule

Monday-Thursday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM or 8:00 AM-4:30 PM (flexible based on patient needs).
