Social Worker

About the role

This is a part-time (30 hours) Social Worker opportunity in our Forest of Dean Locality Team, based in scenic Cinderford. We focus on making Adult Social Care a place where people want to work and feel supported to deliver quality practice so they can focus on people first.

Responsibilities

• Support people to lead full and active lives
• Maintain relationships with clients and their families
• Conduct assessments and develop care plans
• Provide guidance and support to individuals and families
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and standards
• Collaborate with other professionals to provide holistic care

Requirements

• Qualified Social Worker in the UK
• Minimum of 1 years’ experience working in an Adults Social Worker role
• Currently registered with SWE
• Willingness to drive (exceptions under the Equality Act may apply)

Qualifications

• Full driving licence
• Fluent in English

Skills

• Strong interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of social work legislation and practices

Pay

The salary is £38,220 - £40,777 per annum pro rata.

The hours per week are 30.
