Social Work-Inpt Psych-LCSW LCPC

About the role

Ensures that all social services are delivered in accordance with the mission statement and SPIRIT values of Carroll Hospital Center. Acting in a lead capacity or in complex situations, is responsible for direct and indirect services for patients, families, and community members of all ages in the CHC area. Advises patients, families, or members of the community on social issues; may arrange discharge and aftercare at home or in institutions, foster care or nursing home placement, financial assistance, etc. Assists the Behavioral Health Services Coordinator of Social Work in program planning and development for specific service populations.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited program
• Less than 2 years of experience; 18 months acute in-patient social work experience preferred
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC)
