Social Work Adjunct Instructor Pool
Overview
The Department of Social Work and Anthropology invites applications for a pool of adjunct faculty positions that are capable of teaching courses in our pre-Social Work and BSW Programs. An MSW from a CSWE-accredited program and a minimum of two years post-MSW, full-time social work practice are required. Previous teaching experience is preferred. At this time, available positions are for in-person courses, but online options may be available in the future.

All instructors are expected to be excellent teachers, responsive to changing professional needs, committed to innovative delivery of instruction resulting in improved student learning, and committed to effective use of all technologies.
All adjunct instructors will be required to complete AUM’s Canvas training and attend a BSW Adjunct Instructor orientation.
Qualifications
- MSW from a CSWE-accredited program and a minimum of two years post-MSW, full-time social work practice are required.
- DSW or Ph.D. in Social Work or closely related field is preferred.
