Social Services Specialist I
Kind of Work
Provide in-home and community-based direct services.
Supervise parenting time between children and parents who are subject to child-protection involvement.
Assess client needs.
Transport clients.
Coordinate with social workers and other providers.
Maintain of records, reports, information and referral.
Distinguishing Features of Work
Perform para-professional direct client services, support professional staff and provide case management services to customers. Duties include assessing needs, determining program eligibility, providing direct services, maintaining accurate program records and reports and initiating customer referrals. The work is performed under the direction of assigned staff.

Selection Process
Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver’s license.
