Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the social services department
- Manage a team of social workers, providing guidance and support
- Coordinate community outreach programs to enhance the quality of life for seniors
- Ensure all activities comply with state regulations and guidelines
- Develop and implement strategies to improve social services delivery
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in social work management
- Proven leadership skills and ability to manage a team
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing social services
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Current licensure as a Social Worker
- Experience working with senior populations
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
