Social Services Director (LPC, LMSW, LCSW)

Essential Functions

  • Provides individual, group and family sessions for patients as indicated by the supervisor.
  • Participates as a member of the multi-disciplinary team and participates in chart reviews for quality assurance.
  • Works with the clinical department including discharge and after care planning, completion of discharge summaries, completion of clinical documentation, and providing guidance to the clinical staff.
  • Reviews psycho-social documentation, completes outcome studies assessments, and develops clinical notes.
  • Provides clinical counseling services, including group, individual, and family services, in an age/disability/culturally sensitive milieu.
  • Performs other duties and projects as assigned.

Educational/Experience Requirements/Qualifications/Skills

  • Must be a LPC, LMSW, or LCSW in the State of Texas.
  • Must have a Master's degree in social work from an accredited school of social work and at least three (3) years of full-time experience in psych.
  • Excellent assertive communication skills, good writing and composition skills, and ability to organize and prioritize high volume workload.
  • Able to work under close supervision.
  • Therapeutic Intervention/De-escalation education required.
  • Must successfully complete CPR certification and attend our approved behavioral de-escalation program.

Licenses

  • LPC, LMSW, LMFT in good standing with the State of Texas.
