Social Services Director

About the role

As a Social Services Director, you will plan, develop, organize, evaluate, and direct the overall operation of the Social Services department in accordance with the NASW Code of Ethics and comply with relevant laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Identify psychosocial, mental, and emotional needs of residents and provide, develop, or aid in accessing services to meet those needs.
• Foster a supportive environment that promotes residents' physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being and quality of life.
• Ensure compliance with national and local guidelines and regulations, company policies, and governing agencies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or a human services field.
• Minimum of one year of supervisory social work experience in a health care setting with geriatric populations.
• Minimum of two years of prior experience in a long-term care, skilled nursing facility, assisted living, or memory care setting.

Qualifications

• Certified, licensed, or registered in the state of practice.
• A flexible, fun, and energetic personality.
• A fire and passion for working with seniors.
