Social Services Director

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Social Services Director to lead our social services department at RegalCare at Blackstone Valley. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the overall well-being of our patients and residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the social services department, including supervising a team of social workers and support staff
• Develop and implement social services programs to meet the needs of our patients and residents
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless care coordination
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
• Provide training and support to staff to enhance their skills and knowledge

Requirements

• Master's degree in Social Work or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in social services, with a focus on gerontology or healthcare
• Professional certification, such as LCSW or LMSW
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
