Social Services Director

About the role

The Certified Social Services Director (SSD) will assist in planning, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the overall operation of our community's Social Services Department. This role ensures that the medically related emotional and social needs of residents are met and maintained on an individual basis, in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Social Services Department with a focus on high-quality care and positive community relations.
• Plan, organize, implement, and evaluate social services programs.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure resident confidentiality.
• Address the emotional and social needs of residents on an individual basis.

Requirements

• Current Social Services Director Certification.
• Prior experience is a plus.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
• Desire to work with the elderly.

Pay

$18 - $20 per hour.

Schedule

Full-time position with 8-hour shifts.
