Responsibilities
As a Social Services Director, you will prepare our residents for their future. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Warren Barr Lincoln Park by:
- Ensuring our residents' social and emotional needs are met during their stay
- Cooking resident discharges
- Participating in resident care conferences
Requirements
To be eligible for consideration, applicants should have:
- As a minimum, a bachelor's degree in Social Work or a similar field and two (2) years of experience in a Social Worker role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Prior Social Services Director experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility, a graduate degree in Social Work or a similar field, and five (5) years of related experience is preferable but not required. We are willing to invest in the right candidate!
Qualifications
Our ideal candidate will have:
- A bachelor's degree in Social Work or a similar field
- Two (2) years of experience in a Social Worker role, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Prior Social Services Director experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility
- A graduate degree in Social Work or a similar field
- Five (5) years of related experience
Skills

- Knowledge of social and emotional needs of residents
- Ability to coordinate resident discharges
- Attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
