Social Services Director

Responsibilities

• Oversight of the nursing center Social Services Department according to NASW Code of Ethics and compliance with relevant guidelines.
• Fostering a supportive work environment that promotes the physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being of patients/residents.
• Direct supervision of up to two Social Services staff members.
• Maintaining departmental productivity and ensuring psychosocial assessments are completed for each patient/resident.
• Identifying discharge goals at admission and documenting them appropriately.
• Educating staff about the role of Social Services and the psychosocial needs of patients/residents and their families/significant others.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work or human services required.
• Required certifications/licenses as per state of employment to practice in long-term care.

Pay

USD $37,440.00 - USD $49,920.00 /Yr.
