Social Services Director

Responsibilities

• Oversight of the Social Services Department according to NASW Code of Ethics and compliance with relevant guidelines.
• Fostering a supportive work environment that promotes the physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being of patients/residents.
• Maintaining policies and routines that enable patients/residents to maximize their independence and dignity.
• Direct supervision of up to two Social Services staff members.
• Ensuring that psychosocial assessments are completed for each patient/resident, identifying their needs and strengths.
• Documenting discharge goals for patients/residents at admission and assessing them for discharge.
• Educating staff about the role of Social Services and the psychosocial needs of patients/residents and their families/significant others.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work or human services.
• Required certifications/licenses as per state of employment for long-term care practice.

USD $52,000.00 - USD $60,000.00 /Hr.
