Social Service Worker | Pingree Center

About the role

This role combines therapeutic support, skill-building, behavior management, and collaboration to help children build coping, communication, social, and daily living skills in a structured and supportive environment. Social Service Workers work closely with interdisciplinary teams and families to ensure consistent care and meaningful progress for every child.

Responsibilities

• Provides therapeutic behavior management as prescribed by care plan
• Assists therapist as needed to develop and review safety/crisis plans and care plans
• Collaborates with internal/external agencies and providers to coordinate services
• Maintains care plan to monitor progress, teach skills, address behavioral concerns, and bill accordingly
• Safeguards continuity of care
• Maintains required productivity standards and other organizational expectations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field
• Internship experience as required for SSW license
• SSW licensure in state of practice
• CPR certification
• Valley de-escalation certification

Pay

Range starts at $23/hour (pay is calculated based on years of licensed experience)

Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm
