About the Role
As the Social Programming Temp at Bleacher Report (B/R), you will populate B/R’s social feeds with the most engaging and viral sports content across Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and emerging platforms. You will curate and publish user-generated content (UGC), highlights, and interviews tailored specifically to each platform’s style and audience.
Responsibilities
- Stay keenly aware of real-time sports events, particularly in the NBA, NFL, and CFB.
- Identify and curate content that resonates with B/R’s audience on social platforms, primarily Instagram and X (Twitter).
- Edit and package footage with platform-specific hooks to maximize engagement.
- Spot and leverage emerging trends before they become mainstream.
- Cover live sports events, including nights and weekends.
Requirements
- 0–2 years of professional experience in social media, content creation, or a related field.
- Deep knowledge of NBA, NFL, and CFB—both on and off the field.
- Active engagement with the latest social media trends and editing styles.
- Proficiency in video editing for TikTok and YouTube Shorts (Adobe Premiere, CapCut).
- Familiarity with Bleacher Report’s voice, content focus, and brand identity.
- Ability to work nights and weekends as needed.
Preferred Skills
- Understanding of Meta and X (Twitter) platform algorithms and best practices.
- Knowledge of hockey, NASCAR, or tennis is a plus.

Pay
Base pay range: $40,768.00 – $75,712.00 salary per year. Actual compensation will vary based on factors such as market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and performance.
