This position will play a key role in developing engaging social media content with a strong focus on storytelling, assisting in the creation of posts for Spadoni College’s social platforms, and elevating the college’s online presence and reach. The role may also include photographing events and activities to support content creation. The student social media assistant position offers valuable, hands-on experience in promoting Spadoni College’s academic programs; centers and initiatives; and student, faculty, and alumni accomplishments to a broad local, regional, and national audience. It is an excellent opportunity for students interested in social media management, digital communications, or media production. Key Responsibilities Assist in managing content and analyzing engagement on Spadoni College’s social media platforms. Brainstorm, develop, and execute compelling digital content for social media and web-based storytelling. Create and edit content such as photos, videos, interviews, short articles, and captions. Collaborate with faculty, staff, students, and alumni to highlight key initiatives and events. Work with the college’s marketing and communication coordinator to ensure social content aligns with branding and messaging guidelines. Develop strategies to increase Spadoni College’s presence and engagement on social media. Assist with the promotion of social media–driven campaigns and college initiatives. Support additional social media–related tasks as requested. Preferred Qualifications Preferred Qualifications Licensure and/or Certification Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Familiarity with major social media platforms and management tools. Experience creating engaging digital content including photos, graphics, videos, interviews, and short-form writing. Proficiency in photo and video editing software (Adobe Premiere, Lightroom, Photoshop, Canva, or similar). Understanding of social media analytics and engagement strategies. Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
