About the role

Outreach Education serves a growing network of public charter schools and private Christian schools across Northeast Florida and Upstate South Carolina. With seven campuses, more than 4,300 students, and over 425 staff members, our mission is to provide exceptional educational opportunities while fostering strong school communities, meaningful family engagement, and mission-driven leadership. We are seeking a rare blend of a creative storyteller and a data-driven growth marketer to serve as our Social Media Strategist and Content Manager.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy that supports enrollment, retention, recruitment, and brand awareness goals.

  • Maintain distinct brand voices for public charter schools (community-focused, tuition-free choice) and private Christian schools (mission-driven, values-based).

  • Build and manage an integrated editorial calendar aligned with admissions priorities, enrollment campaigns, school events, academic milestones, celebrations, fundraising initiatives, and recruitment efforts.

  • Establish and maintain social media guidelines, brand standards, and contributor resources to ensure consistency across all campuses.

  • Stay current on social media trends, platform updates, short-form video best practices, and parent-focused digital marketing strategies.

  • Transform daily campus experiences into compelling digital stories that showcase student achievement, school culture, and mission impact.

  • Create high-performing Reels, TikToks, Stories, and static content designed to increase family engagement, tour registrations, and enrollment applications.

  • Write clear, persuasive, and conversion-focused organic social media copy tailored to distinct audiences across public charter and private Christian school networks.

  • Partner with Human Resources and school leadership teams to showcase staff culture, professional development opportunities, mission impact, and employee success stories.

  • Support educator recruitment efforts through strategic storytelling and employer branding initiatives.

  • Monitor comments, messages, tags, and online reviews across all platforms. Engage with families, staff, prospective employees, and community members in a professional and timely manner. Escalate sensitive concerns appropriately to protect organizational reputation and ensure effective communication.

  • Track, analyze, and interpret native platform metrics using Meta Business Suite, TikTok Analytics, Google Analytics, and website traffic reporting tools.

  • Conduct ongoing testing of content formats, messaging strategies, creative hooks, video styles, posting schedules, and copy variations. Use data to identify and replicate content that generates the highest number of inquiries, tours, and applications.

  • Demonstrated success in content strategy, copywriting, brand storytelling, short-form video creation, and community engagement.

  • Proven ability to use analytics and performance data to drive measurable business, enrollment, recruitment, or lead-generation outcomes.

  • Strong understanding of enrollment marketing funnels, customer journeys, and conversion-focused digital marketing strategies.

  • Ability to balance a faith-based voice for Christian school audiences while maintaining an inclusive and community-centered tone for public charter school audiences.

  • Excellent project management, organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, competing priorities, and fast-paced deadlines.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to brand consistency.

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Digital Media, Business, or a related field preferred.
