About the Role
SERHANT. New Development manages multiple active projects simultaneously, each with its own development partner, brand standards, approval chain, launch timeline, and content calendar. The Social Media Specialist, New Development owns social media for this portfolio end-to-end—from the calendar a developer signs off on to the post that goes live. Reporting to the Director of Integrated Marketing, this role serves as the day-to-day social lead for every active development in the portfolio.
This is a client-facing position, requiring direct collaboration with developer partners and their marketing teams, on-site New Development sales teams, SERHANT. Studios, the Content Marketing Manager, and the Content Publishing & Distribution Lead. The role involves presenting calendars, running status calls, managing approvals, and reporting on results. It is ideal for someone with experience in a high-volume agency or client-services environment who can maintain standards under deadline pressure and produce their own content when needed.
Responsibilities
- Client and Developer Partnership
- Serve as the day-to-day social point of contact for new development partners across every active project.
- Present monthly and campaign content calendars to stakeholders, explain the concepts behind the work, and manage feedback, revisions, and approvals to meet deadlines.
- Run recurring status calls to keep partners updated on shooting schedules, live content, and performance.
- Editorial and Brand Ownership
- Build and maintain a distinct content calendar for each active development, aligned with launch dates, sales milestones, events, press moments, and campaign windows.
- Manage a high volume of concurrent deadlines across the portfolio without letting any project go dark.
- Own the pipeline from concept through approval to publication, including asset gathering, copywriting, scheduling, and delivery.
- Maintain content pipelines and project status in established team systems to ensure visibility for partners and the marketing organization.
- Translate each development’s positioning and design story into a distinct social voice that aligns with the building’s brand.
- Uphold SERHANT. brand standards and developer brand guidelines across every asset, caption, and channel.
- Monitor trends in luxury, lifestyle, hospitality, and design social media, and adapt successful formats to elevate the portfolio.
- Content Creation and Short-Form Video
- Concept, shoot, and edit organic social-first content covering property, amenities, neighborhood, lifestyle, sales gallery, model residences, events, and partner activations.
- Produce short-form video for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts, with a strong grasp of platform-native pacing and format.
- Capture fast-turn content around launches, milestones, broker events, and partner activations.
- Direct on-camera talent, including agents, sales directors, and developer partners, to extract usable story content from interviews.
- Publishing, Performance, and Reporting
- Prepare, schedule, QA, and publish content across project and SERHANT. channels, ensuring accuracy in captions, tags, collaborators, metadata, formatting, and disclosures.
- Work within publishing standards and workflows, staying current with team SOPs as they evolve.
- Monitor project channels for comments, inquiries, and engagement, routing sales inquiries to the appropriate team quickly.
- Report on reach, engagement, growth, and content performance by project, and use insights to refine future calendars.
- Leverage AI and automation tools to streamline ideation, copy variation, asset organization, and reporting.
Requirements
- 2+ years of professional experience in social media, content production, or content marketing, including at least one year in a client-facing or account-facing environment.
- Agency experience across lifestyle, hospitality, luxury, or design brands is strongly preferred. New development, real estate, or architecture marketing experience is a plus.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent client content calendars at high volume, with a track record of hitting deadlines across competing projects.
- Strong shooting, editing, interviewing, writing, and captioning skills, with the ability to move from idea to finished social asset quickly.
- A portfolio or reel of organic short-form video and social content you personally concepted, shot, or edited. This is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Film, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Proficiency with editing, scheduling, analytics, and project management tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, Canva, Vista Social, native platform analytics, ClickUp, or similar platforms.
- Comfort using AI and automation tools to improve workflows, process efficiency, content ideation, creative development, or reporting, with experience beyond basic chatbot prompting.
- Availability to be on-site at active developments and sales galleries across New York City as project needs require.

Pay
Actual compensation within the pay range will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location. The national base pay range for this position within the United States is $65,000.00 USD.
Schedule
This position is on-site eligible for candidates based in the New York, New York area. The role may include occasional work at additional SERHANT. offices or attendance at offsites, as agreed to with your manager. Candidates must live within the United States.
