About the Organization

Bike New York is a vibrant 501(c)(3) nonprofit on a mission to transform the lives of New Yorkers and strengthen communities—one ride at a time. We bring the joy and freedom of cycling to people of all ages through free, high-impact education programs, workforce development initiatives, dynamic public events, and deep partnerships with community groups and government agencies. We’re best known as the producer of America’s largest bike ride—the iconic TD Five Boro Bike Tour—which sends 32,000 cyclists on an unforgettable journey through all five boroughs on 40 miles of car-free streets. In addition to this flagship event, we host regional rides and intimate community rides that celebrate the diverse neighborhoods of New York City. Proceeds from these events, along with charitable giving, directly power our mission—expanding access to cycling, uplifting communities, and creating a healthier, more connected city.

About the Role
