About the role
A powerhouse in tech lifestyle content is hiring a Social Media Manager to bring its brand to life across social platforms. The company produces a nationally syndicated weekend radio program broadcast on 500+ stations, SiriusXM shows, popular newsletters, and a growing YouTube channel and podcast network, connecting with millions of people every week who want to live smarter and safer in the digital world.
Responsibilities
- Create, publish, and manage daily social content, including posts, graphics, short-form video, and motion, across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, Threads, YouTube, LinkedIn, and more
- Help shape and execute social media strategies that support programming, promotions, and brand initiatives
- Collaborate closely with producers, on-air talent, and marketing teams to promote shows, segments, events, and digital campaigns
- Plan and maintain social content calendars, keeping everything organized, on schedule, and aligned with programming priorities
- Engage with the audience by responding to comments, messages, and feedback in a timely, authentic, and on-brand way
- Monitor performance, analytics, and platform trends, adjusting content to maximize reach, engagement, and growth
- Support paid social campaigns and stay current on emerging trends, especially in short-form video
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field
- 3+ years of hands-on social media management experience, ideally in media, broadcast, entertainment, or a high-volume content environment
- Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to adapt tone and voice across platforms while maintaining brand consistency
- Experience creating graphic and visual content for social media
- Proven success producing and managing short-form video for TikTok, Threads, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong organizational skills and an excellent eye for detail
- Flexible Monday-Friday, in-office schedule
