Social Media Manager

About the role

WADDL is looking for a creative Social Media Manager to help build our presence on Instagram, TikTok, and other social channels. This role is perfect for someone who understands social trends, loves making content that feels organic instead of overly polished, and can help WADDL develop a fun, sharp, and bold voice. You will help turn WADDL into the kind of brand people want to follow before they even need custom apparel.

What you'll do

• Create short-form content for Instagram Reels and TikTok
• Write captions, hooks, and on-screen text
• Develop WADDL's voice across social platforms
• Brainstorm trend-based content for clubs, trips, teams, and friend groups
• Design graphics, memes, and launch posts
• Schedule and organize posts
• Track what content performs best and suggest improvements
• Support occasional outreach to student groups, clubs, and creators

Qualifications

• 1-3 years experience in e-commerce/consumer tech social media
• Understand TikTok, Instagram Reels, memes, and internet culture
• Can write in a voice that sounds casual, funny, and human
• Good eye for clean visual design
• Organized enough to manage a content calendar
• Comfortable testing ideas quickly and iterating on feedback
• Excited by startups, branding, fashion, student orgs, or creator-style marketing

Bonus qualifications

• Experience with Canva, Adobe Express, CapCut, TikTok editing, or Instagram content
• Experience with campus ambassador programs or apparel brands

Pay & schedule

• Part-time, paid position
• Approximately 5-10 hours per week to start
• $30/hour
• Room for more hours as WADDL scales
