Social Media Manager
About the role
We're HighKey. We build social media and branding for medical aesthetics, plastic surgery, and wellness clinics. Our goal is to turn doctors and clinic owners into authorities in their markets, making patients trust them before booking.
Responsibilities
- Manage 8 to 10 client accounts and be the main point of contact for each one.
- Lead strategy calls, set content direction, and ensure delivery of results contributing to client success and retention.
- Own client-facing tasks, including client calls, relationship maintenance, and training a Social Media Assistant.
- Build and execute a content strategy across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook.
- Create hooks, write scripts, build shot lists, and direct clients during filming sessions.
- Manage content through to publication, track deliverables and deadlines in Basecamp, and adjust strategies based on analytics.
- Train and lead a Social Media Assistant, ensuring they are capable of managing their own accounts.
- Identify and address retention risks early to prevent complaints.
Requirements
You must be able to take ownership without needing constant supervision, respond quickly, handle direct feedback constructively, and confidently lead client calls as an expert. You should be proficient with tools and adaptable to new systems.
Qualifications
- Experience managing multiple social media accounts.
- Strong content creation and editing skills.
- Ability to lead and train others.
- Proficiency with tools such as Basecamp, Notion, Hootsuite, Frame.io, and Hubstaff.
- Experience with platforms like TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook.

Pay, benefits, and growth
- Hourly pay ranging from $22.50 to $27.50, with performance-based upside tied to account growth.
- A clear career ladder: Starter Level 1, Starter Level 2, Mid-Level, Senior, with promotions based on quality, consistency, and assistant training effectiveness.
- The first 90 days involve learning our systems, producing early work samples, and proving responsiveness and coachability.
- By the end of the first 90 days, you will own your accounts, produce consistent output, and grow your accounts while leading your assistant.
