Social Media Manager

About the role

We’re hiring a social media manager to own all of Hercules' presence across X, LinkedIn, and Instagram. The founding team works in‑office in San Francisco (Kearny and Bush) with a strong preference for in‑office work; we are open to remote for exceptional candidates in US time zones who can travel to the office regularly.

Responsibilities

• Manage our X, LinkedIn, and Instagram accounts.
• Create compelling content that converts and grows Hercules' brand.
• Engage with customers and prospective customers and direct them to sales or support as needed.

Skills

• Proven track record growing organic social for a software product.
• Excellent writing and editorial judgment (hooks, clarity, voice, pacing).
• Strong creative direction for short‑form video (scripting, structure, creator guidance).
• Comfort with analytics (what moved, why it moved, and what to do next).
• Strong AI workflows for ideation, drafting, editing, repurposing, and performance analysis.

Pay

$100k‑$250k + equity (depends on seniority, equity, and location); Compensation Range: $100K‑$200K.
