Social Media Manager

About the role

We’re looking for a Social Media Manager to lead content creation and audience growth for an individual artist. You'll be responsible for helping create engaging social content, identifying trends, growing our online communities, promoting artist releases, and helping drive ticket sales for shows. This is a part-time role based in New York City.

Responsibilities

• Pitch, film, edit, and post high-volume short-form video content across Instagram & TikTok.
• Lead content production; must have experience shooting original content.
• Editing and post-production.
• Collaboration with artist team on content strategy.
• Capture content at events, including crowd reactions and stage footage.
• Create and execute content calendar.
• Monitor social performance and provide insights on content effectiveness, audience behavior, and growth opportunities.

Requirements

• Experience managing social media accounts for brands, artists, or entertainment properties (internships count).
• Experience filming, editing, and publishing short-form content with tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Canva, or similar.
• Strong creative instincts for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and emerging social platforms.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Passion for music and nightlife; someone who lives and breathes internet culture.
• Willing to attend and assist in person in the NYC/Tri-State area.

Schedule

Approximately 35-40 hours per month.

Pay

$1,000.00 per month.
