Social Media Manager

The Role

Glossier is seeking a creative, community-first social media expert to support the development of ownable, best-in-class social strategy and social marketing campaigns. This person will manage channel operations, execute social strategy for brand launches, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and foster meaningful interactions.

Expectations

• Contribute concepts and ideas for always-on content and campaigns
• Execute cross-channel content with strategic planning and innovation across channels
• Collaborate and brief cross-functional teams and external partners on content opportunities
• Create light touch ad hoc content for TikTok, Instagram Stories, and Instagram
• Basic social reporting to measure content performance
• Stay current with social media trends and identify moments for the brand

Key Ingredients

• 3-5 years experience in social media management and content development within the beauty industry or related sectors
• Strong communication skills, including written and verbal, and attention to detail, especially in consumer-facing content
• A customer-first mindset and passion for creating memorable content moments
• Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics
• Strong knowledge of social media KPIs and analytical reporting platforms
• Ability to work across organizational teams, building relationships and advocating for brand outcomes
• Passionate self-starter with the ability to move quickly and implement ideas
• Proactive approach with effective collaboration with internal and external partners
• Experience with Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Canva, Capcut or similar video editing software

Compensation

The estimated annual pay range for this role is $82,000 - $107,000. Full-time positions are also eligible for a competitive compensation and benefits package that includes medical health insurance, 401K, equity in the form of Restricted Stock Units, Paid Time Off, Short Term and Long Term Disability leave, and a range of other benefits.
