Social Media Manager
About the Company
Catalyst Capital is the holding company behind a portfolio of investing education and community brands—Decentralized Masters, Inflection Club, Legacy, and more. Each brand serves a different audience with a distinct promise, but they share one engine: content that earns attention, builds trust, and turns strangers into members. Social media is the front door for these brands. Before anyone books a call, joins a community, or invests a dollar, they meet us on a feed. This role owns that first impression.
About the Role
We are hiring a Social Media Manager to own daily execution across the portfolio. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role where you will publish for multiple brands and founder accounts, maintain each brand’s unique voice, grow and engage communities in the hundreds of thousands, and feed the top of a sales funnel that drives the entire business. You will focus on execution—shipping content daily, on time, and error-free—while using data to refine and improve performance week over week.
Responsibilities
- Daily publishing across the portfolio: Ship content on schedule across LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, X, and TikTok.
- Voice discipline: Ensure each brand maintains its distinct voice. Decentralized Masters does not sound like Legacy, and you will prevent any blurring between them.
- Content calendar: Maintain a master editorial calendar accurate across all brands, coordinate with the creative director, editors, and writers, and ensure every asset ships on time.
- Community and engagement: Reply to comments and DMs, nurture the engagement network, and build real relationships with our communities daily. Route genuine buying intent to the appropriate team instead of letting it go unaddressed.
- Launch and campaign marketing: Own the social push behind launches, webinars, and live events—the campaigns that drive pipeline.
- Quality control: Review every video and graphic for spelling, quality, and brand consistency before it goes live. Nothing publishes unchecked.
- Compliance-aware publishing: Follow approved language and disclaimer rules to the letter. Escalate anything that reads as a promise, guarantee, or personalized advice.
- Reporting and insights: Pull analytics, identify what’s working, tie it back to pipeline, and turn it into actionable recommendations for the team.
A Week in the Role
Content is planned and produced roughly two weeks ahead, providing a clear runway. A typical rhythm includes:
- Publishing across every brand at scheduled times, followed by a post-upload quality check on everything that went live.
- Spending focused time each day in comments and DMs, maintaining the engagement network.
- Coordinating with the creative director, editors, and content team to keep the pipeline moving and assets on brand.
- Tracking registrations and inbound volume during campaign windows and updating the team.
- Delivering a weekly performance report and a deeper monthly growth analysis to shape the next month’s content.
What You Will Be Measured On
- Pipeline contribution: Booked calls, applications, and qualified leads attributable to social, growing month over month.
- Execution: Posts go live on time and error-free, every time, across every brand.
- Growth and engagement: Engagement rate and follower growth improve month over month per brand.
- Campaign results: Registrations and signups grow launch over launch.
- Quality: Content is consistently excellent, compliant, and unmistakably on brand—with no brand-voice bleed between properties.
- Reporting: Clear, timely, and actionable insights that influence future content decisions.
Requirements
Who you are:
- Hands-on experience running social media for a brand or creator, ideally across multiple platforms simultaneously. Managing more than one brand or account at once is a strong plus.
- A naturally strong writer who can adopt a specific voice and craft scroll-stopping copy—while cleanly switching between brands.
- Relentlessly detail-oriented. Typos, weak assets, and missed posting times genuinely bother you.
- Comfortable reading analytics and turning numbers into clear, actionable insights—including connecting content to downstream conversion, not just likes.
- Proactive and self-directed. You flag issues early, ask before assuming, and take ownership without needing to be chased.
- Deep understanding of how each platform works, including algorithm and format differences.
- Genuinely warm and personable in the way you engage a community.
- Comfortable working within compliance guardrails rather than treating them as obstacles.
Nice to have:
- Experience in crypto, investing, fintech, or financial education—or in the creator-economy and personal-brand space.
- Experience running social across a multi-brand portfolio or holding company.
- Familiarity with scheduling and analytics tools such as Hypefury, Taplio, or similar.
- Working knowledge of design tools like Canva and Figma.
- Experience with UTM tracking, link management, and simple attribution—and reading it back out of a CRM.
- Comfort using AI tools to move faster without sacrificing quality.
