Social Media Manager

About the role

The Social Media Manager will shape and grow the Terrace’s online presence through original content creation, storytelling, social strategy, and real‑time event coverage, turning live events into compelling digital stories that resonate with dance music, nightlife, and live‑event culture.

Responsibilities

• Manage the social media calendar
• Create and edit engaging photo and video content
• Develop copy for posts and promotions
• Promote upcoming shows and engage with the community
• Work closely with marketing and media teams to bring Terrace events to life online
• During events, independently curate and publish real‑time content
• Direct on‑site media teams and content creators
• Provide creative feedback and coordinate content drops
• Publish timely post‑show recaps within established brand guidelines

Requirements

• At least two years of social media experience
• Strong portfolio of creative content
• Excellent storytelling instincts
• Authorized to work in the U.S.; no visa sponsorship available
• Flexibility to work the schedule required for Terrace events
• Passion for dance music, understanding of social culture and trends, and ability to turn live events into compelling digital stories

Schedule

This is a hybrid, salaried exempt position assigned to the Terrace. Regular weeks average approximately 40 to 44 hours and generally include one remote workday, two in‑office days, two overnight on‑site shifts, and limited post‑show recap or administrative work. Overnight coverage typically replaces or reduces office time. Major event weeks may require additional hours, nights, weekends, and select holidays.
