About the role
The Carboncopies Foundation is an international nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing the science and technology of whole brain emulation. This is a REMOTE Volunteer position.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a cohesive social media strategy across platforms
- Create and schedule regular posts for Twitter/X, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram
- Design visually appealing graphics and multimedia content
- Maintain a consistent posting schedule
- Monitor engagement and respond to comments and messages
- Track analytics and provide insights on social media performance
- Collaborate with team members to promote events, research updates, and fundraising campaigns
- Stay current on social media trends and best practices
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience managing social media accounts (personal or professional)
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Basic graphic design abilities and familiarity with design tools
- Understanding of social media analytics and metrics
- Organizational skills and ability to maintain a consistent posting schedule
- Creativity and enthusiasm for translating complex concepts into engaging content
Time Commitment
- 1 hour weekly organization meeting
- 1 hour daily co-working sessions
- Approximately 5 - 10 hours / week
- At least 4 months
