Responsibilities
- Regional Strategy and Editorial Planning: Develop and execute social media strategies for SERHANT.'s West Coast and western expansion markets, translating national campaigns and company initiatives into locally relevant content. Build an editorial presence that reflects each market's agents, listings, neighborhoods, culture, business priorities, and expansion opportunities. Partner with the Content Marketing Manager on editorial planning, original content development, testing, optimization, and market-level storytelling as regional priorities evolve. Support broader SERHANT. social ecosystem needs as required, contributing to cross-market campaigns, launches, publishing priorities, and content initiatives beyond the primary regional focus.
- Social Originals and Short-Form Production: Develop recurring social-first concepts and original series featuring agents, listings, neighborhoods, market insights, brokerage stories, and regional expansion moments. Plan, shoot, interview, and edit short-form video for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms. Produce timely fast-turn content around announcements, recruiting, office culture, events, trends, and local opportunities, collaborating with SERHANT. Studios when additional production support is needed.
- Agent and Brokerage Support: Serve as the primary social media partner for agents and brokerage leaders across assigned western markets, helping identify stories, develop concepts, prepare for shoots, and strengthen on-camera content. Support agent branding, listing promotion, recruiting, events, and brokerage initiatives by coordinating shoot logistics, assets, interview questions, timelines, and publishing expectations. Educate agents and stakeholders on social media best practices, platform opportunities, and SERHANT. content programs while building support systems that can scale into new markets.
- Publishing and Distribution: Prepare, schedule, QA, and publish content across assigned SERHANT. regional and corporate channels, ensuring captions, tags, collaborators, metadata, formatting, and applicable disclosures are accurate. Maintain regional publishing calendars and content pipelines within established team systems, coordinating with the Content Publishing & Distribution Lead on standards, workflow visibility, and distribution practices. Monitor scheduled and published content for errors, performance signals, emerging opportunities, and moments that warrant broader amplification across SERHANT.'s national network.
- Performance and Market Optimization: Monitor regional content performance and translate results into actionable recommendations for future concepts, series, agent programming, publishing times, and distribution approaches. Test hooks, formats, topics, captions, pacing, and channel strategy, identifying high-performing content with potential for broader distribution or paid amplification. Share recurring market-level insights with the Content Marketing Manager and broader social team to strengthen local relevance and overall content effectiveness.
- Community and Regional Presence: Monitor relevant conversations, trends, engagement, and cultural moments across supported markets, identifying where SERHANT. can participate authentically. Build relationships with agents, creators, businesses, developers, and local industry voices through thoughtful social engagement and real-time content capture. Maintain an active understanding of the communities the role supports, including brokerage events, property launches, recruiting initiatives, and other regional activations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Film, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 4+ years of social media, content production, or content marketing experience, preferably within real estate, luxury, lifestyle, media, or related industries.
- Demonstrated experience developing social-first content strategies and executing short-form video across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms.
- Strong shooting, editing, interviewing, writing, captioning, and storytelling skills, with the ability to move quickly from idea to published content.
- Experience working directly with talent, executives, agents, creators, or client-facing stakeholders in fast-moving environments.
- Proficiency with editing, scheduling, analytics, and project management tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, Canva, Vista Social, native platform analytics, ClickUp, or similar platforms.
- Comfort using AI and automation tools to improve workflows, process efficiency, content ideation, creative development, or production operations, with experience that goes beyond basic chatbot prompting.
- Ability to travel within supported western markets as business needs require.

Pay
The national base pay range for this position within the United States is between $60,000-70,000 USD. Actual compensation will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location.
Schedule
This position is located hybrid in Los Angeles, CA. The role will include work at a SERHANT. office and attendance at offsites, as agreed to with your manager.
