Social Media Internship

About the role

BRCTV-13 has an exciting internship opportunity for a motivated individual to help promote news, sports, and live programming with social media. The role is responsible for creating compelling posts, videos, and graphics to drive eyes to Blue Ridge productions.

Responsibilities

• Update promotional templates for news and sports productions.
• Post daily on Twitter/X, Facebook, and Instagram pages.
• Publish approved news and sports stories on YouTube.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Current student pursuing a degree in Digital Marketing, Social Media Management, and/or Communications.
• Established residency in Pennsylvania.
• Valid PA Driver's License with a good driving record.
• Strong background in media communications, copywriting, and visual design.
• Understanding of social media platforms (YouTube, Twitter/X, and Meta) and scheduling tools.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere and Photoshop).
• Flexibility to work between PC and Mac work stations.
• Creativity and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently on projects and present them to the Social Media Manager for review.

Schedule

Monday‑Thursday, 2 PM – 6:30 PM and Fridays, 4 PM – 11:30 PM (approximately 25 hours per week).
