Social Media Intern | Rambler Northgate

About the role

Rambler is seeking a Social Media Intern to implement its social strategy and manage and grow its Instagram and TikTok accounts. This position is ideal for an outgoing college student who stays current with social trends, enjoys creating unique content, and thrives in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing social media environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor Rambler social media channels (Instagram and TikTok) in line with the company’s Social Media Strategy and Policies.
• Develop and execute monthly social content calendars that tell the brand story and create relevance.
• Publish unique, audience‑specific content to drive brand awareness and engagement.
• Produce reels and TikToks to entertain, educate, and drive engagement.
• Engage with followers on Instagram via comments, likes, and shares.
• Implement strategies to grow follower count, retain followers, and convert them into customers.
• Collaborate with the corporate video team to conceptualize and produce videos for social media and other digital platforms.
• Track and report social media engagement and follower growth, and make performance‑based recommendations.
• Maintain a consistent brand presence using appropriate brand colors, guidelines, and visual layouts.
• Manage the weekly Instagram giveaway campaign, including ideation, content creation, winner selection, gift acquisition, and delivery.
• Assist the Social Media Manager with planning and coordinating lifestyle photoshoots.

Requirements

• Current college student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, PR, Journalism, or a related field.
• Experience managing a brand or influencer’s Instagram presence.
• Passion for social media and content creation, ideally demonstrated through a strong personal social presence.
• Familiarity with major social platforms, especially Instagram and TikTok.
• Comfortable appearing on camera for Instagram Stories, Reels, and TikTok videos.
• Canva skills are a plus.
