About the Role

ABRAMS is seeking a ComicArts Social Media Intern to join our Comic Arts team as part of our Fall 2026 Internship Program commencing on September 15, 2026. Over the course of this immersive, unpaid program (offered for academic credit only), interns will gain meaningful insight into the world of book publishing while contributing to real projects that drive our business forward. You'll learn alongside experienced professionals, develop practical skills in your area of interest, and participate in opportunities designed to broaden your understanding of the publishing industry. Our goal is to help prepare the next generation of publishing talent while fostering a passion for books, art, and culture.

Responsibilities

  • Designing social media graphics
  • Filming and editing videos
  • Tracking engagement
  • Compiling influencer media lists
  • Assisting with publicity mailings
  • Updating marketing and publicity grids
  • Participating in key meetings and learning from various members of the publicity and marketing teams through day-to-day collaboration

Requirements

  • Must be currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student at an accredited academic institution
  • This internship is not open to recent graduates
  • Passion for graphic novels, comics, and publishing
  • Passion for social media and digital marketing
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and digital tools such as MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience in videography and graphic design
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and also work independently on projects
  • Receptive to feedback and able to meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)

Internship Details

Compensation: For credit only; must be enrolled in a college program offering internship credit. Location: New York, NY, and follows a hybrid schedule, working 25 hours per week. Duration: September 15, 2026 to December 18, 2026.
