Social Media Growth Manager (Volunteer) – LoopRoots Foundation

About the role

The Social Media Growth Manager will lead the strategy and growth of LoopRoots Foundation’s digital presence across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a social media growth strategy across all platforms
• Plan and manage a consistent content calendar
• Work closely with the videographer and creative team to turn raw footage into high-performing content
• Identify trends and adapt them to LoopRoots’ mission and voice
• Optimize content for engagement, reach, and audience growth
• Monitor analytics and adjust strategy based on performance
• Engage with followers, comments, and messages to build community
• Support campaigns related to fundraising, awareness, and program launches

Requirements

This is a volunteer position as part of our early-stage build phase. Selected candidates will have the opportunity to take ownership of a key growth function and contribute to a mission-driven organization with national impact.

Qualifications

• Experience managing or growing social media accounts (personal or professional)
• Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn
• Able to identify trends and create engaging content strategies
• Creative thinker with strong storytelling instincts
• Organized and able to manage content planning independently
• Passion for social impact, nonprofit work, or justice reform

Skills

• Canva, CapCut, or similar tools (preferred but not required)
• Experience working with nonprofits or mission-driven organizations (preferred but not required)
• Basic understanding of analytics tools such as Instagram Insights or TikTok Analytics (preferred but not required)
