About the role
The Social Media Content Specialist will play a pivotal role in bringing Dairy Boy’s unique vision to life across various social platforms. Reporting to the Creative Director and Head of Marketing, this individual will be responsible for creating visually striking, emotionally resonant content that aligns with the brand’s ethos and engages its diverse audience.
Responsibilities
- Own the content creation process from ideation to final post across all Dairy Boy social channels
- Create short-form video and photo content for launches, events, campaigns, product stories, and behind-the-scenes moments
- Maintain a consistent content pipeline across Dairy Boy and brand extensions such as The Farmstand and Study Break
- Create content across key categories including product, styling, lifestyle, founder, behind-the-scenes (BTS), and culturally relevant moments
- Stay updated on platform behaviors, content trends, and cultural shifts to identify opportunities for content development
- Support content calendars, asset organization, shoot logistics, posting, and community engagement
- Track performance metrics and provide insights on what resonates with audiences and areas for improvement
- Collaborate with marketing, creative, e-commerce, and brand teams to ensure content supports broader business goals
- Support user-generated content (UGC) efforts and influencer seeding strategies for amplification across owned channels
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in social media content creation or a related field
- Strong command of Instagram, TikTok, and platform-specific content formats
- Sharp editing skills and visual instincts, able to produce polished, current, and consistently tonal content
- A strong storytelling ability, keen on composition, pacing, and emotional resonance in content
- A clear creative vision and a discerning eye for what feels culturally relevant
- A collaborative spirit willing to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and maintain attention to detail
Qualifications
- Passion for fashion, lifestyle, and brand storytelling
- Experience working with influencers and managing UGC
- Understanding of digital marketing and social media analytics tools
- Knowledge of SEO best practices for social media
Skills
- Strong visual and aesthetic sensibility
