Social Media & Content Intern
Quotable Magazine is an independent, niche print and online publication focusing on female entrepreneurship. This is an unpaid internship for the '26-27 school year, with the option to receive school credit if desired.
About the role
We are seeking a social media intern to help manage our multiple social media accounts and online presence across platforms for our magazine and podcast content, including Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, TikTok, and YouTube. This is an internal, part-time, flexible position with a set weekly schedule, requiring in-person work at least 2 days per week at our downtown office.
We’re a media company that focuses on telling the stories of founders and entrepreneurs, elevating and empowering women leaders. An interest in entrepreneurship or business is a plus. We value creativity, new ideas, and enthusiasm—there’s potential to shape this role as you see fit.
Responsibilities
- Create content calendars and plan ideas
- Design basic graphics in Canva or other preferred programs
- Draft social posts based on existing magazine articles and podcast episodes
- Develop original social posts tailored to our audience
- Monitor analytics and performance to refine content strategies
- Focus primarily on Instagram, with additional content for Facebook, Pinterest, and potentially YouTube and TikTok
- Edit basic video content for reels
- Bring creative ideas and take initiative in shaping the role
