Social Media & Content Intern

About the role

Maven is seeking a social-media-native intern (10–15 hours per week) to support content creation and day-to-day social media execution for Maven Consumer. In this role, you’ll work directly with the Senior Manager of Social Media on projects that have tangible, real-world impact.

This is a 3-month internship running from August through November.

What You'll Work On

• Support content calendar planning and scheduling across Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn
• Create short-form video, graphics, and captions that are on-brand and platform-native, using AI creative tools (CapCut, Canva, Claude) to move faster and iterate more
• Use AI tools to assist with trend research and social listening, surfacing what's working in health, wellness, and adjacent categories
• Monitor trends, viral moments, and platform updates and bring a POV on where Maven should show up
• Conduct competitive research on how peer brands show up across social channels
• Help organize and maintain creative assets and content libraries

What You'll Bring

• Genuine fluency in Instagram and TikTok with an understanding of what performs and why
• Hands-on comfort with AI creative tools (ChatGPT for copy, Canva for visuals, CapCut for video)
• Strong writing skills and a good eye for visual content
• Organized and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple projects at once
• Familiarity with Sprout Social, Figma, or similar tools is a plus
• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field

The compensation rate for this role

The compensation rate for this role is expected to be $20/hour.
