About the internship

Our creative team is seeking a self-motivated and creative Social Media & Content Creation Intern to support content development, social media management, and digital marketing initiatives across a variety of brands and industries. This internship is designed for current students, recent graduates, or early-career creatives who want to build real-world experience in social media marketing, content creation, digital storytelling, and brand communications.

What You'll Do (with Support & Mentorship)

  • Design graphics, write captions, and help edit short-form photo and video content.
  • Support content planning, scheduling, and social media research.
  • Aid in photography, video productions, and behind-the-scenes content creation.
  • Observe client meetings, brainstorming sessions, and campaign development.
  • Help organize content libraries, marketing assets, and project materials.
  • Monitor social media engagement and learn community management best practices.
  • Participate in creative reviews while gaining hands-on experience in content strategy, branding, and agency workflows.
  • Receive ongoing mentorship and feedback from the Creative Director, Project Managers, and creative team.

What You'll Learn

  • Social media strategy and content planning.

  • Working within brand guidelines and maintaining a consistent voice.
  • Collaborating within a professional creative agency environment.

Studio Access & Perks

  • Access to our studio to create unpaid personal portfolio projects (outside client work and subject to scheduling).
  • Ability to use select studio equipment and software for approved portfolio projects.

Ideal Skills & Background

  • You're a current student, recent graduate, or early-career creative interested in marketing, communications, public relations, media, journalism, advertising, or related fields.
  • You're active on social media and understand current platform trends.
  • You have experience creating content for social media, whether through personal projects, coursework, student organizations, or freelance work.
  • You have basic experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar content creation tools.
  • You enjoy writing, storytelling, photography, videography, or digital content creation.
  • You're open to feedback, comfortable communicating, and enjoy collaborating with a small team.
  • You're organized, reliable, accountable, and able to manage multiple projects.
  • You're eager to learn, contribute ideas, and take initiative.
  • You're genuinely interested in branding, social media, content marketing, and digital storytelling.

Preferred but Not Required

  • Photography or videography experience.
  • Experience managing personal, student organization, or business social media accounts.
  • Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or social scheduling tools.
  • Interest in marketing or digital advertising.

Note

This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience, professional mentorship, and portfolio-building opportunities while helping you develop the skills needed for a career in social media, content creation, and digital marketing. The internship is 3 months long, with approximately 20 hours per week. Compensation is $15 per day for transportation and meals on days worked. Location is hybrid – you’ll work remotely most of the time, but will attend in-person productions in Atlanta and surrounding areas 1–3 times per week, depending on the production schedule. Note: This internship may be eligible for academic credit depending on your institution's requirements. Please check with your school if you plan to receive credit.

Internship Structure & Growth Path

  • Onboarding Week: If selected, you’ll start with an onboarding and training week (remote and/or hybrid) focused on: Learning our tools, workflows, and expectations, Getting to know the team and how we communicate, Setting your learning goals for the internship. This onboarding week is part of the 3-month internship and is covered by the same $15/day stipend.
  • Full Internship Phase: After onboarding, you’ll move into the full internship phase: ~20 hours per week for the remainder of the 3 months, Ongoing project support, mentorship, and portfolio development, Regular check-ins to align on goals, expectations, and growth.
  • Phase Two: Paid Creative Fellowship (Optional, Not Guaranteed): Interns who demonstrate strong performance, professionalism, and growth may be invited to continue into a second phase as a Paid Creative Fellow (typically an additional 3-month period). The fellowship is a paid, early-career role with increased responsibility and continued mentorship. You’ll continue to support our creative, social, and production work while deepening your skills and familiarity with our workflows. Selection for the fellowship depends on performance and business needs and is not guaranteed.
