Twelve is looking for a creative, hands-on Social Media Content Creation Intern to help capture the people, products, and process behind our work. This role is built for someone who enjoys being behind the camera, can spot a strong visual moment, and knows how to turn raw footage into engaging social-first content. You will work closely with our Market Editor to shoot photo and video content in real time, edit short-form assets, and maintain an organized library of usable content. This is a production-focused internship, not a social media strategy or community management role.
Responsibilities
- Capture photo and video content featuring products, works in progress, office culture, team moments, client activations, and events.
- Create vertical, social-first content for platforms such as Instagram Reels, TikTok, Stories, and LinkedIn.
- Translate briefs and content ideas into simple shot lists, then execute quickly in a fast-moving environment.
- Film behind-the-scenes content that brings Twelve's creative and operational process to life.
- Edit raw footage into polished short-form videos using tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar platforms.
- Select strong images, complete light retouching and color correction, and prepare assets in the correct formats and dimensions.
- Organize, label, and maintain photo and video files so content can be easily found and reused.
- Partner with designers, account teams, and other interns to identify upcoming moments worth capturing.
- Track relevant visual and platform trends and bring forward practical ideas that fit the Twelve brand.
- Support occasional interviews, event coverage, and quick-turn content needs.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in film, photography, content creation, communications, marketing, design, or a related field.
- A portfolio, social account, or examples that demonstrate your eye for composition, storytelling, and short-form content.
- Comfort shooting high-quality content on a smartphone; experience with DSLR or mirrorless cameras is a plus.
- Working knowledge of video editing and basic photo editing tools.
- A strong sense of pacing, framing, lighting, sound, and what makes viewers stop scrolling.
- Confidence approaching teammates, directing simple shots, and capturing candid moments without disrupting the work.
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple content requests and deadlines.
- A proactive mindset: you notice the moment, get the shot, and follow through with a usable final asset.
