Position Summary

The Social Media Content and Growth Specialist (Specialist) is responsible for growing Insight for Living's (IFL) presence on LinkedIn and YouTube through compelling short-form content. The Specialist creates content, digital advertisements, and analytics to enhance IFL's reach to new audiences across two high-growth platforms.

Core Job Functions

  • Collaborates with IFL’s creative team to implement a content strategy

  • Mines IFL’s content library to surface clips, quotes, and stories worth sharing on LinkedIn and YouTube

  • Assembles each post’s content for LinkedIn and YouTube

  • Edits and produces short-form video and graphic content using Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar tools

  • Manages posting schedules for LinkedIn and YouTube

  • Bridges fresh ideas and a proactive mindset to content strategy

Campaign Research and Oversight

  • Plans and manages paid advertisement campaigns on LinkedIn and YouTube within an established budget

  • Ensures advertisement campaigns align with platform goals and ministry strategy

  • Maintains campaign performance and organic growth

  • Compiles regular analytics reports and each campaign’s highlights

  • Bridges fresh ideas and a proactive mindset to content strategy by spotting trends, testing formats, and suggesting pivots based on what data shows

Professional Development and Project Management

  • Commits to the challenges of growth and development according to the Professional Development Plan

  • Pursues the designated knowledge and/or experience with a positive attitude

  • Completes assigned tasks with excellence and in a timely manner

  • Pursues new training opportunities in project management programs departmentally

Team Member Contribution

  • Models IFL’s core values through daily conduct

  • Exerts initiative and drive to improve departmental and organizational operations

  • Owns problems, creates solutions, and maintains personal accountability for results

Position Specifications

  • Job Qualifications:

    • Demonstrated knowledge of paid social media advertising (i.e., LinkedIn Ads, YouTube/Google Ads, or Meta)

    • Demonstrated examples of a portfolio, case study, or campaign managed is a plus

    • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut, or comparable photo/video editing tools

    • Comfortable working independently and taking initiative

    • A creative eye and the instinct to know what will stop a scroll

    • Familiarity with analytics tools (i.e., native platform dashboards, Google Analytics, or similar)

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills

    • High attention to details with outstanding organizational skills

    • Ability to anticipate and prioritize work with minimal direction

    • Ability to work well under time constraints

    • Creative background a plus

    • Humility, a high level of flexibility, a positive attitude, and the ability to listen and work well with others
