MarketingFull-time

Temporary full-time role based in Manhattan, NY (hybrid: onsite 2 days per week). Estimated duration: 2 months. Hourly rate: $30–$35.

About the role

We are seeking a Community & Content Coordinator to provide incremental support across the client’s social team during our highest-volume business period, spanning the client's Fashion Show. This role will help scale both community engagement and high-volume content execution, ensuring the team can fully capitalize on key brand moments while maintaining strong day-to-day support across the always-on business. The ideal candidate is highly organized, culturally fluent, comfortable working in a fast-paced social environment, and excited to engage directly with the client community while supporting the operational needs of a high-performing social team.

Responsibilities

  • Scale proactive and reactive community engagement across Instagram, TikTok, and other priority social platforms before, during, and after key campaign moments.
  • Monitor and actively participate in customer conversations, ensuring the client is consistently engaging with the community rather than simply reacting to it.
  • Support real-time community management around the Fashion Show, including livestream conversations, watch parties, giveaways, and other high-engagement moments.
  • Monitor community sentiment and emerging conversations, identifying opportunities for the brand to proactively engage with customers, creators, talent, and cultural moments.
  • Leverage available social tools, including Plot and Dash, to identify relevant posts, conversations, creators, and emerging trends and engage with high-value opportunities.
  • Surface meaningful audience insights, including FAQs, sentiment trends, viral moments, customer feedback, and emerging content opportunities.
  • Support moderation and escalation of sensitive, high-priority, or customer service-related conversations as needed.
  • Maintain consistency with established client community voice, guidelines, and escalation protocols.
  • Support publishing and scheduling across social platforms, ensuring content is accurately and efficiently published according to the social calendar.
  • Assist with social calendar management, ticket creation, reporting, and other high-volume executional needs across the team.
  • Support day-to-day content operations surrounding major campaigns, launches, and always-on programming.
  • Help track and surface key content and community performance throughout high-priority campaign windows.
  • Provide flexible support across the broader Social team as priorities evolve, particularly during the client's Fashion Show and Holiday.

Requirements

  • 2–3+ years of experience in social media, community management, content coordination, or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of Instagram and TikTok, including platform behaviors, trends, and community dynamics.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and high-volume executional needs.
  • Strong written communication skills and an understanding of social-first brand voice.
  • Proactive and resourceful, with strong judgment around when to engage, escalate, or surface an opportunity.
  • Comfortable using social publishing, listening, reporting, and community management tools.
  • Passion for fashion, beauty, entertainment, culture, and social media.
  • Excited by the opportunity to work in a real-time, highly collaborative environment around one of the brand's biggest moments of the year.

Qualifications

  • Experience in the fashion industry (2–3+ years).
  • Experience using Dash and Plot is a plus.
