Social Media Assistant – Womens

About the role

Pure Football Club Women are seeking a passionate and creative Social Media Assistant to help grow and strengthen the club’s online presence across all digital platforms. The successful candidate will support the day-to-day running of the women’s team social media channels, helping to create engaging content, promote fixtures and events, highlight player achievements, and strengthen supporter engagement throughout the season.

Responsibilities

• Assist with managing and updating the club’s social media platforms
• Create and schedule engaging posts, stories, and matchday content
• Support live matchday coverage and player announcements
• Edit supplied graphics using Photoshop where required
• Help increase engagement and promote the women’s team positively online
• Work alongside club staff to maintain a professional and consistent brand image

Requirements

• Basic knowledge and understanding of major social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter), TikTok, and YouTube, with an understanding of current social media trends and audience engagement
• Experience using Adobe Photoshop is essential
• Basic Photoshop editing skills (e.g., resizing graphics, adding text, updating scores, and making simple visual adjustments for matchdays and announcements)
• Strong communication and organisational abilities
• Creativity and attention to detail
• A passion for women’s football and grassroots/community sport
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
