About the role

The Family YMCA of Greater Augusta is seeking a creative, organized, and community-minded Part-Time Social Media Assistant.

Responsibilities

  • Capture content at YMCA branches and events
  • Edit photos and videos
  • Write captions
  • Schedule posts across social media platforms

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least 25 years old and eligible to drive on behalf of the organization
  • Experience with photography, videography, or social media content creation preferred
  • Basic photo/video editing skills
  • Familiarity with Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn
  • Strong communication, organization, and writing skills
  • Passion for community and the YMCA mission

Benefits

  • Flexible part-time position (15–20 hours per week)
  • Some evening and weekend hours based on events and programming
