About the role

Join our dynamic team at Read Better Be Better, a nonprofit dedicated to combating Arizona’s literacy crisis. We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled individual to join our team as a Program Coach.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement literacy programs tailored to diverse learners
• Provide one-on-one and small group tutoring sessions
• Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
• Mentor and support students in achieving their reading goals
• Collaborate with other staff members to enhance program effectiveness

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in education, literacy, or related field
• Experience working with children and adults in literacy programs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passion for improving literacy rates in Arizona

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Basic computer skills including email and internet navigation
• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation (for part-time positions)
