About the Role
The Social Emotional Supports Coach provides targeted support to assigned daycare centers in Palm Beach County. This field-based position requires flexibility with daytime and evening hours to accommodate clients’ schedules.
Responsibilities
- Provide educator training, classroom observations, behavior strategy modeling, and lead social skills groups at assigned childcare centers.
- Collaborate with childcare centers to develop classroom and school plans based on identified needs.
- Analyze screening and assessment data to identify needs, risks, and protective factors; recommend appropriate services.
- Implement evidence-based approaches, including Circle of Security and Conscious Discipline, to support children’s social-emotional development.
- Build strong relationships with teachers, parents, and community partners while providing outreach and support services.
- Maintain accurate program documentation and data, monitor outcomes, and participate in required trainings, meetings, and supervision.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Early Childhood Education, or a related field with 2+ years’ experience in behavior management or early childhood classroom support.
- At least 1 year of experience in a childcare setting or relevant experience.
- Schedule includes occasional evening and weekend hours as needed.
- Must be 21 years or older.
- Bilingual English/Creole required.
- Valid Florida driver’s license required.
- Successful completion of a background check through Clearinghouse.
