Social Care Worker

Main Duties

• Administer mediation as prescribed.
• Able to take responsibility as a key worker.
• Support to reablement plans for service users.
• Contribute to the planning, monitoring and recording of service delivery.
• Act as shift lead, with temporary overall responsibility of the care home.

Qualifications

You must hold a minimum of SVQ level 2 in Social Care or equivalent (minimum required for registration with SSSC), a commitment to achieve SVQ 3 on Social Care.

Requirements

• Ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative.
• Possess good communication skills.
• Respond constructively to unpredictable situations and able to cope under pressure.
