About the role

Soccer Shots is a children's fitness franchise seeking part-time coaches to lead 30-minute soccer sessions for children aged 2-8. The ideal candidate should have a passion for working with children, be responsible, professional, enthusiastic, and have some soccer experience or familiarity with the game.

Responsibilities

  • Lead 30-minute soccer sessions for children aged 2-8
  • Engage and interact with groups of up to 12 children
  • Ensure accurate attendance and effective communication with the Soccer Shots director of coaching
  • Work flexible schedules, including afternoons and evenings, with some mornings available
  • Operate out of various locations, including daycares, preschools, and community centers

Requirements

  • Responsible: Arrive on time, manage a group of 10 or more children, keep accurate attendance, communicate effectively with the coaching director
  • Professional: Maintain neat appearance, be friendly and courteous with daycare staff and directors, and parents
  • Enthusiastic: Enjoy interacting with young children, be outgoing and animated, able to connect with them on their level
  • Soccer: Some soccer experience is helpful, but familiarity with the game is also acceptable
  • Working with children: Experience engaging and interacting with children aged 2-8
  • Transportation: Own and have reliable access to a vehicle
  • Equipment: Own and have daily access to a computer, printer, and internet

Pay

$34.00 - $34.00 per hour

Schedule

Available three full days a week, Monday-Friday, or all afternoons/evenings or mornings Monday-Friday. Afternoon classes run from about 2:00-5:00pm and evening classes run from approximately 4:30-7:30pm.

Compensation

Starting pay is $17 per session (approx. $34/hr), with room for growth at the hourly rate or into a salaried position with increased pay.
