Responsibilities

• Work with children ages 2-8
• Teach 30-minute Soccer Shots sessions
• Manage groups of up to 12 children
• Communicate with Soccer Shots director of coaching
• Engage and interact with children on their level
• Be responsible, professional, enthusiastic, and outgoing
• Have some soccer experience or familiarity with the game
• Own and have daily access to a computer, printer, and internet

Requirements

• Responsible: Arrive on time, keep accurate attendance, communicate well with Soccer Shots director of coaching
• Professional: Maintain neat appearance, be friendly and courteous with day care center staff and directors, and parents
• Enthusiastic: Enjoy interacting with young children, able to connect with them on their level, make the Soccer Shots class the best 30 minutes of their week
• Soccer: Familiarity with the game, helpful if you have some experience
• Working with children: Experience engaging and interacting with 2-8 year olds
• Transportation: Own and have reliable transportation

Qualifications

• Commitment to at least the next 3-4 seasons (9-12 months)
• Long-term employment (12 months) and growth opportunities

Skills

• Ability to handle a group of 10 or more children
• Outgoing and animated personality
• Experience working with children ages 2-8

Pay

$34.00 - $50.00 per hour

Schedule

• Available three full days a week, Monday-Friday
• All afternoons/evenings or mornings Monday-Friday
• Morning classes run from approximately 8am-12pm

Compensation

Starting pay is $17 per session (approx. $34/hr), with room for growth at the hourly rate or into a salaried position with increased pay.
